Looks great in your kitchen and you'll be so impressed not having to rummage around in your drawers for the knife your after. Saves accidents from happening as well.
I like that there are holes for you to screw in the back plate for a stronger attachment to the wall. My wall is not exactly flat, so what I did is to add washers between the wall and the back plate so the plate can attach flatly to the magnet.
Another thing I like is the magnet is two long strips along the length of the holder, which means you can put your utensils anywhere along the knife holder.
Strong magnet. I tried to use this on the side of the fridge as another buyer suggested but apparently not all fridges are made of steel. Oh well, I like it anyway and my very sharp knives are secure now.
There is a steel plate that you screw into the wall or where ever you decide to mount this. When you line up the magnet to the plate be careful to line it up evenly and keep your fingers clear. The magnet is very strong and I pinched the skin on my finger tip. It is also hard to pull the magnet off the mounting plate once they're put together so make sure it is exactly where you want it and level.
My old magnetic knife rack had become dangerous (knives would fall off if you came near it). Was looking for something that would work on my fridge - this was perfect. Super magnetic on both sides I have 7 knives on it and it looks fantastic.
Very well Pack in a carton. It arrived in perfect condition. Installs very easily. (the fixing screws and tempons are delivered with.) the magnets are powerful. Allows you to save storage space, and the knives are much better to protect than cram in a drawer. In addition very accessible Very happy with my purchase.
